The Ohio State football team secures another tight end recruit for 2025
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team is riding a wave of momentum on the recruiting trail. They have been grabbing recruits every week at key spots on the field. They have been so successful in the class of 2025 that they have the best recruiting class in the country.
Ohio State is still waiting on some five-star recruits to make up their mind, but that won't stop them from getting commitments from other solid players. The Buckeyes were able to get a second tight end for this class after they got a three-star recruit to commit to them on Thursday.
Brody Lennon, a three-star recruit from Gates Mills, Ohio, has decided to play for the Ohio State football program. Lennon got an offer from Ohio State just a couple of weeks ago and he has already decided that he wants to stay home and play for the Buckeyes.
Lennon stands at 6'4 and 220 pounds, which is a decent size for a tight end. As a junior, he was Second-team All-State after he caught 32 passes for 750 yards and 11 touchdowns. He plays for a school that is only Division III, so it's not the strongest competition.
Even so, Lennon dominates that competition. He's a solid player who could rise to a four-star level by the time his high school career is done. He picked the Buckeyes over Missouri, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and more. Lennon becomes the second tight end for Ohio State in the 2025 class.
Lennon's commitment brings the Buckeyes up to 20 commits for the class. Spots are filling up quickly. They will hold some spots just in case some of the five-star recruits they are chasing decide to commit to them, but they need to make up their mind quickly.
Ohio State has done a fantastic job of reloading with this top class.
