The Ohio State women's basketball team won at least a share of the Big Ten title after taking down Maryland. They now have the number-one seed in the Big Ten Tournament.

The Ohio State women's basketball team is now the Big Ten champion after beating Maryland. All they do is keep winning. They took down the Terps 79-66 and improved to 15-1 in conference play. All five starters scored in double-figures en-route to this conference-clinching win.

Because of their win against Iowa earlier this season, it no longer matters what happens in these final two games against Michigan and Iowa because they own the tiebreaker against the Hawkeyes. All the Buckeyes have to do is win one of those games and they win the conference outright.

Even if they lose both of these games, the Buckeyes still have the number-one seed in the Big Ten Tournament. That means they get the highly-coveted double-bye. It also means that they are set up to get a number-one seed in the NCAA Tournament as long as they make the semifinals.

This is the best Ohio State women's basketball team we've seen in a while in Columbus. Last year's team came very close to making the Final Four, but I think this year's team can actually make it. They hustle on defense. They have multiple players who can create their own shot. Ohio State also protects the ball themselves.

Ohio State is looking to get some revenge on TTUN. That's the only team that has beaten them in the Big Ten this year. That game will be on Wednesday in the Schott and will be senior night, so I'm sure it will be filled up. It will be the last chance Buckeye fans can cheer on their squad in a regular season game.

The number-two team in the country just keeps rolling on. Kevin McGuff has done a wonderful job leading these ladies. They might be the only team that can truly challenge undefeated South Carolina. Hopefully, they get to face-off in the national championship.
