Ohio State football vs. Michigan State weather forecast
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team is taking on Michigan State this weekend. It's the first Big Ten game for the Buckeyes and the first Big Ten game they have played without divisions in the conference since 2012. Ohio State is looking to improve to 4-0 on the season.
Michigan State is coming off a loss to Boston College. They look like a team that could finish in the middle of the pack of the Big Ten. They'll definitely make a bowl game and will probably be around eight or nine wins this year. The Buckeyes don't want to be counted as one of those wins.
The Spartans are hoping for a big upset. One of the best ways to help that happen would be for there to be some bad weather. Poor weather would slow down Ohio State's offense and give the Spartans a better chance of winning. Will that be the case on Saturday night?
What the forecast will be for the Ohio State football team vs. Michigan State
With Hurricane Helene coming in, a lot of the country will be dealing with a ton of rain. It won't make it's way up into Michigan though. The remants of it will dump rain and wind in Indiana and Ohio. but East Lansing looks like it will get spared from both of those things.
According to the Weather Channel, It will be clear and 69 degrees at kickoff. When the game ends, it will be about 65 degrees. It will be a cloudy evening, but there will be no precipitation. It will be slightly windy though, as the winds will blow at 8-12 mph throughout the night.
Ohio State will get lucky with the weather once again. They will be able to operate without any worry that the weather will slow them down. That's bad news for the Spartans.
