The Ohio State football team is getting ready to start the Big Ten portion of their schedule this week. The Buckeyes take on Michigan State this weekend. Unfortunately, it's on Peacock. That means that fewer Ohio State football fans will be able to watch this game at their leisure.

Michigan State comes into this game on a losing streak. They fell to Boston College last week, losing 23-19. It was their first loss of the season, although the Eagles were by far the toughest team they've faced so far. They also struggled with FAU in the season opener.

The Spartans are a mess offensively. They haven't scored more than 40 points yet this season and they haven't exactly been playing Georgian or Alabama. If they were a good team, they would have put at least 50 on Prairie View A&M. What else should Ohio State expect from them?

What the Ohio State football team should expect from Michigan State

Michigan State has a quarterback who loves to turn the ball over. Adian Chiles threw three interceptions last weekend against Boston College. He has already thrown seven interceptions this season to just four touchdowns. Now, he's going against the best defense in the country.

Defensively, the Spartans are a little better. They haven't given up a ton of points. They did allow 152 yards rushing against the Eagles, which is not good going against the Buckeyes. Ohio State is definitely a run-first team, so that doesn't bode well for Michigan State.

The Ohio State Buckeyes should be able to beat the Spartans without too many problems. Right now, I have the Buckeyes winning the game 42-17. I just don't see any way that Michigan State is able to keep it close, even if it is a home night game for them. Ohio State is just too talented.
