The Ohio State football team has had two home games so far. Both games were big victories for the Buckeyes. They weren't in danger of losing either game at any point. The only chance that either Akron or Western Michigan had to beat them was for bad weather to muck up the game.

Neither game had bad weather. The season opener was hot. I would know, I was sweating in the stands in the first half. The Western Michigan game was a night game and it was one of the cooler nights we've had this summer. Neither game had any rain or significant wind to deal with.

This week, the Ohio State Buckeyes are taking on the Marshall Thundering Herd. It's their first noon game of the year so it won't quite be as hot. Rain would really help Marshall slow down Ohio State's offense a bit. Will they get their wish? Or will it be another great day for football?

The weather won't be an aid to Marshall at all in this game. Ohio State should be able to win this game without too many struggles. It will be another perfect weather game for the Buckeyes.
