Ohio State football vs. Marshall injury report
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team is taking on Marshall in their final non-conference game. It's a game that they shouldn't have any problem winning because of how talented they are compared to the Thundering Herd. Even if that's the case, the Buckeyes would like to be healthy heading into today's game.
For the most part, the Ohio State Buckeyes have been able to be healthy for their first two games. Cody Simon missed the first game of the season before returning to face Western Michigan. Donovan Jackson missed each of the first games of the year and will return for this one.
Ohio State will enter this game as a massive favorite and as healthy as they've been all sesaon. In fact, according to the injury report, the Buckeyes will have every scholarship player available except for one. That one player is a starter though, so that's not ideal.
The Ohio State football team will be missing Tyleik Williams against Marshall
Tyleik Williams will miss the game against Marshall. It becomes the first game he's missed this season. It's unclear how he got hurt since the Buckeyes are coming off a bye week and Williams played against the Broncos of Western Michigan in Week 2.
While his injury has not been disclosed, he was favoring his shoulder at one point against Western Michigan. While Ohio State does not need him to win this game, it would be nice to have this team fully healthy for at least one week. It just seems like they always have one guy hurt for one reason or another.
Hopefully, Williams is able to recover from his injury quickly and play next week when the Buckeyes start their Big Ten schedule against Michigan State. They'll definitely need him when they take on Oregon in a few weeks.
