The Ohio State football team looked great in their games before the bye week hit. They were hitting on all cylinders on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball. The defense has scored more points this season than they've allowed so far, outscoring opponents 14-6.

Marshall now comes in to face a well-rested Buckeye team. Not only are they well-rested, but they should have their best offensive lineman back for this game. Things don't look great for Marshall, and the oddsmakers don't think so either. They don't think they have a shot to win this game at all.

According to DraftKings, the Buckeyes are 39.5-point favorites. The line was at 39 at the beginning of the week, so it has gone even further in the direction of the Ohio State Buckeyes. The over/under sits at 52, so they clearly think the Buckeyes are going to be scoring most of the points.

Ohio State football vs. Marshall final prediction

The Ohio State football team doesn't just look like the best team in the Big Ten, but perhaps the best team in the country. They are one of the few teams so far to not struggle with an inferior opponent. I don't expect them to do that today either. This game shouldn't be close at any point.

Look for TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins to both have big games. They both could approach or even exceed the 100-yard mark. Marshall's defense just doesn't have enough talent to keep those guys under wraps. Ohio State should have a big day offensively.

I don't think the Thundering Herd are even going to be able to put a point on the board. Ohio State's defense is too strong of a team to allow that to happen. They already have pitched a shutout against Western Michigan. I think they get one for the second game in a row.

This is the final non-conference game on the schedule. The Buckeyes are going to try to work out all of the kinks they have on the team in this one.
