The Ohio State football team got the weekend off. They were able to rest a bit while also improving their team. It wasn't so much a bye week as it was an "improvement week". They should be an even better team when they take on Marshall next weekend for their third game.

After beating their first two opponents by a combined score of 108-6, it's hard to see how they could get much better. They look like one of the best teams in the country right now. In fact, they look like the best one. Their combination of offense and defense is unmatched anywhere else in the country.

When you take a look around the country, Ohio State has an argument to be the top-ranked team in the country. That's especially true after Georgia's struggles against Kentucky. They beat the Wildcats by just a single point and scored a measly 13 points.

With Georgia struggling to win, there's a chance they drop in the polls. While Texas looked good over UTSA, Quinn Ewers got hurt and was knocked out of the game. They're not the same team without their starting quarterback. The only team that's completely healthy and still great is the Ohio State Buckeyes.

The Buckeyes are a complete team and haven't struggled against an inferior opponent yet. They are the only team in the country that can say that. They are healthy too. While Texas has the best win in the country so far this year, Ewers' injury could knock them down in the polls for now.

Of course, the Buckeyes aren't concerned about where they sit in the polls right now. They are only concerned about it at the end of the season once the College Football Playoff starts. That's when it really matters.
