Ohio State football vs. Iowa weather forecast

The Ohio State football team returns to The Shoe to take on a strong Iowa team. This will be the hardest game that the Buckeyes have played thus far. Iowa's defense is one of the best in the country. It won't be as easy for Ohio State's offense in this game as it has been for their previous games.

One thing that would make things even harder for Ohio State's offense to execute would be some poor weather. They haven't really had to face the elements so far this season. The only time there was a semblance of bad weather was last weekend when it sprinkled a bit.

Now that we are in October, the weather starts to shift. It cools down and the wind sometimes gets more troublesome. That would be an issue for Ohio State's high-powered offense. Iowa would prefer a slower game. Will the weather be okay for Saturday afternoon?

According to the Weather Channel, this is going to the perfect day for some football. The game will kickoff at 3:30 pm ET, right in the hottest part of the day. It will be about 80 degrees when the game starts. By the time it ends, the temperature will fall to around 70 degrees.

There won't be any precipitation at all to worry about. The skies will stay clear. It won't be windy either. It will only blow 4-7 mph throughout the day. In other words, the weather won't be any sort of factor in this game. It will be decided by the teams on the field.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are expected to win this game and move on to Eugene, Oregon next weekend undefeated. Anyone overlooking this game shouldn't be, though. Iowa is certainly good enough to pull an upset at the Shoe.
