The Ohio State football program is hosting a camp right now. It's a camp for all of the best players across the country to come and showcase their talents. It's great for the Buckeyes because they can evaluate all of these recruits up close and personal in their own backyard.

On Wednesday, the Buckeyes offered seven different prospects scholarships. Several recruits clearly caught their eye. The same thing happened on Thursday as well. Ohio State decided to hand out seven scholarship offers again to a variety of prospects.

One of the recruits who was offered a scholarship was an in-state receiver. Jaeden Ricketts is a receiver from Pataskala, Ohio. He's currently listed as a three-star recruit. But if Brian Hartline wanted to add him, he has the talent to get a better ranking soon.

The other offers were for players playing a variety of other positions. Two of them were tight ends, two were offensive linemen, one was a defensive lineman, and one was a quarterback. All are in the 2026 class except for the quarterback, who is in the 2027 class.

Those are all positions of need for this team. They have no depth on the offensive or defensive line, so offering multiple prospects up front is a good move. The Buckeyes don't really have an entrenched starter at tight end and are still looking for a star at that position, so offering a couple of those is good too.

Expect more scholarships to be offered when the Buckeyes keep hosting more camps next week. Once camp season rolls around, scholarships start flying out the door. Now that official visits are happening too, the Buckeyes should be getting more commitments soon.
