The Ohio State football team has the best class in the country for 2025. They are doing a great job of keeping their needs taken care of, although the month of August wasn't great. With that class almost filled to capacity, they have started turning their attention to the 2026 class.

Right now, Ohio State has just one commitment for next year's class. It's the best receiver in the country, Chris Henry Jr. He is the best receiver in the country for that class. Obviously, they are going to be adding a ton of recruits in the next few months from that class.

On Tuesday, the Buckeyes had one high-level recruit keep them on his final 12 list of schools. That is four-star linebacker Anthony Davis. Davis is from the state of Georgia and has a lot of powerhouse schools on his list and he is expected to rise in the rankings as this year continues.

Davis announced his final 12 on social media. Aside from the Ohio State Buckeyes, he has Auburn, USC, Colorado, Oklahoma, Michigan, Alabama, Clemson, Texas, Tennessee, Penn State, and Oregon. Obviously, all of those schools are hoping to compete for a title this season.

Davis has been racking up the offers this year, adding a bunch of them this Spring. He hasn't been able to take many official visits yet. I'm sure he will be scheduling some of those soon now that he has cut down his schools list. The Buckeyes will certainly be on that list.

Ohio State is going to start getting a lot more visits from prospects in the 2026 class. I would expect them to start getting some commitments from that class in the next few months. Adding a linebacker like Davis would be a good start to the class.
