The Ohio State football program is trying to solidify its 2025 recruiting class. They currently have the second-best recruiting class in the country. This is despite losing a cornerback recruit recently and having just 12 recruits in the class right now. There's a lot of work still to be done.

Ohio State isn't worried about the number of recruits in the class right now. They expect to have a relatively full class when everything is said and done. The numbers will pick up next month when official visits start up again and camps start to happen.

One of the recruits that they have committed to them right now is cornerback Na'eem Offord. Offord is the second-best cornerback recruit in the country and is a five-star recruit. He is a top-ten overall recruit in the country on all of the recruiting services. Simply put, he's a great player.

There were some rumors floating around on social media that he had opened up his recruitment after a recent visit to Oregon. Allegedly, he also has Auburn and Alabama in the running as well. His list allegedly also still includes Ohio State. Offord took to social media to dispute these rumors in a strong way.

As you can see, Offord strongly denies these rumors. He's still locked in with the Ohio State football program. These are the types of rumors that other schools like to make up to stir up some controversy. I don't believe these rumors at all, although it's weird this came from an Ohio State account.

Of course, things can still change. NIL has completely changed how teams look at recruiting and how they approach it. Programs can all of a sudden drop a bag in front of a recruit and make them say no. There are no rules, so NIL is very hard to regulate.

Ryan Day and his staff will have to keep recruiting all of his recruits until that Letter of Intent is signed and delivered.
