The Ohio State football program has one of the best recruiting classes in school history right now. They have the best class in the country for the 2025 class. A big reason for that ranking is the number of high-level players from the secondary that they have been able to land.

Right now, the Buckeyes have the top two cornerbacks in the country committed to them. Both Devin Sanchez and Na'eem Offord are committed right now. One of those top recruits though has taken a concerning number of visits to an SEC school in the last eight days.

In the last eight days, Offord has visited Alabama four times. That's a lot of time in Tuscaloosa for a player who is supposedly committed to the Ohio State football program. He has denied strongly in the past that his recruitment is open, but you can't help but wonder with that number of visits.

Offord is a great player and someone that Ohio State wants to keep. I fully support recruits taking the official visits that they have already scheduled. They can grab a ton of free gear while they're on campus and just hang out. This is a little more than that though.

There are whispers that trust is building between the Alabama coaching staff and Offord. What does that mean for Ohio State? It means that they can't stop recruiting him. Even with him committed, they can't let up on him if he's still going to be taking visits like this.

All Ohio State football fans can do is trust Offord's word that his recruitment is not still open. He might be trying to drive up the price for his proposed NIL deal with the Buckeyes. That would be a good reason for him to keep taking visits to rival schools.
