The Ohio State football program has the second-best recruit in the country for the 2025 recruiting class in Tavien St. Clair. He is the best recruit in that class for the Buckeyes. Right now, that class is the best in the country despite only having 14 total commits.

St. Clair was offered by the Buckeyes back when he was just a three-star recruit. Out of Bellefontaine, Ohio, he has slowly progressed into being one of the best recruits in the country. He has been committed to Ohio State for a while and is even trying to recruit for the Buckeyes.

On Tuesday, St. Clair was in attendance for one of Ohio State's camps. He was out there doing some workouts that were quite impressive. He showed off his arm strength and his accuracy on multiple passes. Check out a couple of his throws:

These are just a couple of throws during a workout without any pads on or a defense trying to take his head off. Even so, the throws are impressive. There are some other clips out there of him throwing today that are just as impressive. He is showing everyone that he deserves that number two overall ranking.

St. Clair is also trying to show that he deserves to be in the race to start in 2025 once he gets on campus. The quarterback next season is already shaping up to be epic. Between him, Julian Sayin, Devin Brown, Air Noland, and Lincoln Kienholz, it's going to be a high-level competition.

One or multiple of those quarterbacks are likely to leave though. The transfer portal has players looking for guaranteed playing time. That's fine though. St. Clair wants to make sure that he puts himself in a position to start for his hometown team as soon as he can.
