The Ohio State football team got another recruiting commitment on Monday to keep improving on an already great recruiting class.

The Ohio State football program had a ton of recruits over in Columbus for an official visit over the weekend. The Buckeyes have the best recruiting class in the country. They were hoping to increase that ranking even more after getting some commits.

On Sunday, they got a commitment from an offensive lineman. On Monday, they got one from a defensive lineman. Zion Grady, a four-star offensive lineman from Alabama, decided to commit to the Ohio State football program. He's rated as the sixth-best edge guy in the country.

Grady chose the Buckeyes over Alabama, Arkansas, and a host of other schools. He stands at 6'4 and 235 pounds, so Ohio State could use him at either defensive end or linebacker. I think they will end up using him at defensive end since Larry Johnson was his primary recruiter.

Ohio State has the best recruiting class in the country and they now have 19 commits for the 2025 recruiting class and they have a massive lead over Alabama for the top spot. They still have the most five-star recruits of any other school and they are hoping to land a couple more.

Now that they have Grady, the Buckeyes have three defensive linemen in the class. That's something that they need because they don't have a ton of depth on the defensive line. Larry Johnson is doing the best he can to get that depth back up to what it used to be.

Ohio State is hoping to get at least six more recruits for this class. There is a lot of time for them to figure out how they are going to handle the class. Ryan Day and his staff have done a great job of recruiting this class for a while. They were very good early with the class and that has held up.
