Former Ohio State football player arrested after domestic dispute

When Ohio State football players head to the NFL, they have all of the tools they need to succeed. That doesn't just mean on the field either. The Buckeyes make sure they have the tools to be successful off the field as well. Some of them thrive while others have a little trouble.
Regardless, it's always a bummer to see a Buckeye get in trouble. No one is perfect and mistakes are made, but it's still sad. Every program also has to deal with this. This isn't an Ohio State-specific issue. One former player was arrested in Cleveland and is currently being arraigned.
Former defensive tackle Mike Hall has been arrested after a domestic dispute. Hall was a second-round pick of the Cleveland Browns in April, so he didn't go far from Columbus. After a domestic dispute on Monday evening, he has now been arrested.

The Browns have said that they are aware of the incident and are gathering information. Hall is alleged to have pushed the victim into a door, causing damage to the frame. He is also alleged to have dragged her across a driveway by the feet. Hall is expected to get some playing time for the Browns and had a shot to win a starting spot up front.
Hall was never in any trouble while he was with the Buckeyes. In fact, he was a model player while he was with the Buckeyes. That's part of the reason why the Browns felt comfortable bringing him in as a second-round pick. This is the first time he's been in any sort of trouble.
We will let you know more as soon as more details become available about this incident. From a football standpoint, this is not ideal timing for this to happen for Hall. The NFL season starts in just a few weeks and this is not the distraction his team needs.
