The Ohio State football program hosted a ton of recruits on a visit this past weekend. In all, ten recruits were on campus to visit. Two of those recruits are already committed to the Buckeyes though, so they were really just trying to impress the other eight.

We told you about how one of the receivers enjoyed his visit. He is the top receiver in the country, but he wasn't the only receiver the Buckeyes were hosting. They were also hosting four-star receiver Vernell Brown III for a visit. He narrowed down his final four not that long ago.

Of that final four, Ohio State was the only non-Florida school in that group. The other schools are Florida, Florida State, and Miami. His dad was a corner with the Gators in the early 2000s too, so you would think it would be an uphill battle for the Buckeyes to nab him.

That's not the case. Brown III is actually projected to pick the Buckeyes. This visit has a lot to do with that. He really enjoyed himself and seemed to be happy with everything the Ohio State football program has to offer. He knows that no other program has the track record of producing great receivers like they do.

We'll see if Ohio State is somehow able to land both receivers that were on the visit. That would be a solid haul for Brian Hartline and it would be enough to vault the Buckeyes into the top recruiting class for 2025. They sit at second with just half of their class full to this point.

The Buckeyes will be hosting a ton more prospects this month for official visits. They should get at least a handful of commitments this month. With camps happening this month, it's a month that a lot of recruits make their college decisions,
