The Ohio State football team is riding high off their best victory of the season. They took down a solid Iowa Hawkeyes team 35-7. The Buckeyes were able to keep their perfect record intact and remain undefeated as they head into this weekend's epic showdown with Oregon.

Other teams around the country were not so lucky. Despite it looking like there was a pretty poor slate of games last weekend, there were upsets galore. It was a weekend that saw Alabama lose to Vandy, USC lose to Minnesota, Tennessee fall to Arkansas, and much more.

There was carnage all over college football this past weekend. That means that the College Football Playoff picture has changed drastically since last week. A lot of teams have proven that they are frauds and others have been able to avoid the big upset.

I have no idea what to do with the Big 12. No one in that conference seems to want to win it. Looking at the upcoming schedules, BYU has the easiest remaining path to a conference title. They're also playing good football right now. That's why I moved them up into the automatic bid slot.

Iowa State is a decent team that has some momentum. Again, they have a light schedule until the final two games they play. They're undefeated too, so they make their CFP table debut. Clemson returns because the ACC is clearly determined to pit Miami against Clemson for the ACC title because the officiating in Miami games can't be explained any other way.

Both Michigan and USC fall out after bad losses. We knew Michigan wasn't going to be good this year. Penn State is a big beneficiary of that. Keep an eye on Indiana as well. They might be moving up into this table soon. The Ohio State Buckeyes are hoping to move up to one after a game against Oregon this week.
