The Ohio State football team has looked great in the first two weeks of the college football season. They have allowed a total of six points in two weeks while scoring 108 points. They are one of the few teams in college football that look ready for the College Football Playoff right now.

So many other teams have not. A lot of other teams have faltered and lost already. In Week 2 alone, there were six ranked teams that lost. A lot of those losses have come courtesy of some upsets. It's actually quite surprising how many teams have already put themselves behind the eight-ball for the CFP.

Michigan got waxed, Notre Dame lost to a MAC team, and Florida State already has two losses. Those three teams were expected to be serious threats for the College Football Playoff this year. Heading into Week 3, none of them are in this week's CFP prediction table.

Ohio State stays at two because they are the most impressive Big Ten team right now. No one looks like they are on the same level as they are right now. Oregon continues to struggle and had to kick a last-second field goal to beat Boise State, so they fell. Penn State drops after struggling with BGSU too.

Michigan completely falls out of the rankings. They don't look like they are very good. Texas blew them out a week after they struggled with Fresno State. However, because Texas is in the SEC, the highest they can rise is fifth. I still think Georgia will win the SEC.

Ole Miss makes a massive jump into the rankings because they have looked great in their first two games. Alabama struggled with USF until late, but they still got the bump as the third SEC team. Oklahoma had issues with Houston, so they don't get in.

Week 3 won't have many marquee games, so it'll be interesting to see if some teams can avoid upsets.
