The Ohio State football program took down Oregon in the Rose Bowl in what was perhaps the most impressive game they played all season long. They played almost a perfect first half of football and had a 31-0 lead at one point. That was one of their great games during their four-game CFP run.

Since losing to the Buckeyes, the Ducks have tried to spend a ton of money on recruits and transfer portal players. They are trying to buy their way into contention for a national title. Yet, they still have a long way to go if they want to compete with the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Chris Henry Jr. just shut down his recruitment. He has been committed to the Buckeyes since July of 2023, so he's been locked in for a while. He just canceled all of the other visits he had scheduled. Despite that, Oregon fans are still delusional enough to think they can land him.

Oregon fans think they can land Ohio State football recruit Chris Henry Jr.

Henry Jr. loves what the Buckeyes can offer him in terms of development. They are also one of the best teams in the country, so he has a chance to win a national title with them. Despite all of this, Oregon fans believe they can still buy his recruitment.

Some fans tried to rationalize the news by claiming that it was an April Fool's joke, not wanting to believe that Henry Jr. wouldn't want to choose Oregon.

It's hilarious to watch the Ducks still think that they can make a run at him when he has been all-in with Ohio State from the start. He loves what Brian Hartline is able to do with his receivers. He is the best developer of receivers in the country, and there isn't a close second out there.

While December is a long time for the Buckeyes to hold his recruitment, they feel very confident that they will be able to do it. He has a chance to be the next great Ohio State receiver. He should be part of a great receiving corp.
