The Ohio State football team has enough talent that it can beat anyone. They didn't lose a game for an entire year after they were finally able to beat TTUN in late November. Indiana is the only team that has been able to take down the Ohio State Buckeyes in that timeframe.
Miami is the next team that gets the privilege of trying to take down the Buckeyes. The Hurricanes were barely able to survive the Aggies of Texas A&M, only winning 10-3. Ohio State opened up as massive favorites, and the line hasn't moved much since that line was first set.
While the Buckeyes have supreme confidence that they can win this game, there is one player on Miami's roster whom they need to make sure won't wreck things. He is the best player that the Hurricanes have. They need to keep Reuben Bain Jr. from messing things up in the middle.
The Ohio State football team needs to keep Reuben Bain Jr. at bay
Bain Jr. is the most talented player that the Hurricanes have on the roster. He is someone who can wreck things up the middle, especially in the run game. If Ohio State doesn't get him blocked, he can plug holes and wreak havoc on the run game, which would make the Buckeyes one-dimensional.
Bain Jr. is also a good pass rusher. He has 7.5 sacks this season, so the offensive line needs to be operating at full capacity. There will be a new starting offensive lineman on the right side, which will actually help Ohio State out. Tegra Tshabola was holding this unit out.
Even with Bain Jr. playing his absolute best, Ohio State has enough firepower to take down the Hurricanes. It's going to be a tough game for Miami to win, and they know that. Ohio State has to be ready for the Hurricanes' best shot from the moment the game kicks off.
