Ohio State fans may have something to say about Brian Hartline as an offensive coordinator, but as a former wide receivers coach, he is clearly a genius. When looking at how NFL wide receivers are performing this season, former Ohio State receivers seem to be going off, and Hartline is looking like the one NFL coaches can thank.
For yet another week, former Ohio State wide receivers went off with three of the four most recent alums with a touchdown and two of three with over 100 receiving yards. Rookie Emeka Egbuka is leading the way right now and could be a serious candidate for Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Veterans Jaxson Smith-Njigba, Marvin Harrison Jr., Garrett Wilson, and Chris Olave all had big wins as well, but not everyone was able to get a win on the day. Egbuka and Olave were all able to help their teams get wins, while Wilson, Smith-Njigba, and Harrison Jr., unfortunately, were on the losing side of their games.

Brian Hartline subtly brags about former Ohio State WRs
While everyone is noticing how former Ohio State wide receivers are absolutely going off so far their NFL season, so is Brian Hartline. After the day slate of games on Sunday, Hartline sent out a little tweet to let his boys know he sees what they are doing and he is proud of them.
So how’d the boys in the League do today?#Buckeyes

Of course, it looks like Hartline is asking how his guys did, but in reality, he sees exactly what they are doing, and it is clear that he coached them very well. At this point, Ohio State is looking like a wide receiver university with the way these guys are going off this season.
Not only is Ohio State looking great this season, but alumni from the football team are also looking amazing, and maybe a former Buckeye will be hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the season.
