The Ohio State football team is riding high off a nice win at Washington. It was the first game they had played on the road, and they didn't let the environment get to them. They were able to get a nice 24-9 victory and now get to head back home to take on Minnesota for a home night game.

This will be the second night game that the Buckeyes will have so far this season. The other one was against Ohio, which the Ohio State Buckeyes had no issues with. Next week, the Buckeyes will travel to Champaign-Urbana to take on the Fighting Illini of Illinois.

That game features the only trophy game that the Buckeyes play, as it will be the battle for the Illibuck. Illinois is coming off a win last week over USC, making a last-second field goal to get it done. The kickoff time for this game has now been revealed.

Ohio State football vs. Illinois will be a Big Noon Kickoff

For the second time this season, the Ohio State Buckeyes will play on FOX's Big Noon Kickoff. The first time was during the season opener against Texas, much to the chagrin of fans. It's very likely that when Ohio State takes on Penn State in a few weeks, that will be on at noon, too.

This is actually an advantage for the Buckeyes. That means that Illinois will be playing at 11 am local time, which could help Ohio State. Ohio State also won't have to take on the Illini in a hostile environment at night, which would have given Illinois a better shot at forcing an upset.

Ohio State will worry about the Illini once the Golden Gophers have left Columbus on Saturday night. They are worried about keeping their undefeated record intact by taking down PJ Fleck and Minnesota.
