Remember when Ohio State Buckeyes fans were a bit disappointed when defensive back Elbert Hill committed to USC? Well, that anger has now been wiped away thanks to the great news that just came in from four-star wideout Kayden Dixon-Wyatt.

Dixon-Wyatt is one of the top wideouts in the country and he has officially committed to the Buckeyes. On Sunday, the 6-2, 180-pounder was deciding between Ohio State, Oregon, USC, Texas and Alabama. Thankfully, he gave Ryan Day and the OSU staff the news that they were hoping for. That's right, he's Columbus-bound once his high school career wraps up:

4-star WR Kayden Dixon-Wyatt has committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes

This indeed is monster news for the Buckeyes. Dixon-Wyatt is a stud for Mater Dei High in Santa Ana, Calif., the same high school as 5-star Chris Henry Jr., who is also committed to the Buckeyes. According to 247Sports, Dixon-Wyatt is ranked the No. 6 WR in the country and No. 59 prospect nationally overall for his class.

While announcing his decision live with Tom Loy of 247Sports, Dixon-Wyatt didn't hesitate in saying that his relationship with offensive coordinator Brian Hartline played a huge role in his decision. It's clear that the development for the OSU wideouts stood out for the speedster in shutting down his recruitment in favor of the Big Ten powerhouse.

Ohio State fans are fired up over this decision and rightfully so. Dixon-Wyatt is one of the best wideouts in the country and he no question has a great future ahead of him at the next level. It's got to be extra special for him knowing that Henry will be along for the ride too.

Those two receivers are loaded with potential and they're going to look to give opposing defensive backs all sorts of issues moving forward. We've still got to wait until 2026 for both of them to suit up for Day and Co., but for now, Ohio State supporters everywhere can sit back and enjoy this latest commitment.
