Ohio State rumored to bring back a player who entered the Transfer Portal

He might not be leaving after all.

It has been a messy offseason in the couple of weeks since the Ohio State football team lost to Miami in the Cotton Bowl. Since that time, they have lost almost two dozen players to the Transfer Portal. They have slowly started to bring some guys in themselves, but the losses outweigh the gains.

So far, the Buckeyes have lost four wide receivers who were on the roster this season. Carnell Tate decided to declare for the NFL Draft. Bryson Rodgers, Quincy Porter, and Mylan Graham have all entered the portal. Rodgers already has a new home, while Porter has a no-contact tag.

Graham is scheduled to visit Notre Dame and Auburn. That doesn't mean that Graham's time in Columbus is finished, though. There are rumors that the Buckeyes might be able to bring Graham back and have him remove himself from the Transfer Portal.

The Ohio State football team might bring Mylan Graham back

Graham is a former five-star recruit out of New Albany, Indiana. He has played sparingly in the last couple of seasons, but is set up to possibly be a starter if he stays next season. According to Alex Gleitman of Letterman Row, it might be possible to bring him back.

Ohio State would love to bring him back with the depth that they are losing at the receiver spot. He has a lot of potential, and he would have more opportunities with Tate and other receivers leaving. Julian Sayin would certainly feel more comfortable throwing to guys he's familiar with.

This wouldn't be unprecedented. Sam Dixon returned from the portal last season after entering his name. Perhaps Graham would realize that Ohio State is the right place for him. It remains to be seen how that situation shakes out once he's done taking his visit.

If Graham doesn't come back, Ryan Day needs to get another receiver to help the depth.
