Looks like someone has been working overtime in the weight room, right? With fall camp all set to open up for the Ohio State football team soon, running back James Peoples is hoping to make a splash in his second year with the team.
Leading up to the first day of practice this summer, he's already got plenty of people talking across the country and for good reason. With his sophomore year loading, Peoples shared a photo on social media that showcased him looking jacked beyond belief. Good luck to opposing defenders trying to bring him down this season - it's not going to be easy at all:

Ohio State RB James Peoples looks jacked beyond belief with fall camp almost here
Does Peoples have a permit for those guns? Yup, he's indeed looking pretty darn big these days and the added size will no question make a difference for him in 2025. Last season as a true freshman, Peoples was able to make an impact for the national champs, rushing for 197 yards and two scores.
His workload is no question expected to increase quite a bit moving forward, which is something the Ohio State faithful are ready to see. With Quinshon Judkins and TreVeyon Henderson off to the NFL, Peoples is expected to be the featured back for Ryan Day and Brian Hartline's offense.
CJ Donaldson (West Virginia transfer) and Bo Jackson will also be in the mix, but Peoples should get the first crack at leading the ground game. Coming out of high school, he was ranked the No. 8 running back in the country and he picked Ohio State over Alabama, Auburn and many others.
Everyone was able to get a small sample size of how great he can be with the ball in his hands in '24. Come this season, Peoples is going to be ready to put on a show for the Buckeyes and keep things moving in the right direction for the rushing attack. Again, it's going to be tough for defensive linemen to bring him down. Ohio State fans should be fired up to see what he can get done this campaign.
