Ohio State legend Urban Meyer is still waiting on Dave Portnoy to pay up for Buckeyes' domination

A friendly bet is still waiting to be settled and Urban Meyer is making sure it gets done.

Seeing Barstool president Dave Portnoy on the FOX Big Noon Kickoff desk this season with former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer certainly was interesting for Ohio State fans. Portnoy is a very dedicated Michigan fan, and of course, not everyone can pick the right team, but then again, not everyone is perfect.

During the show, however, on the week of The Game, Portnoy and Meyer made a fun little bet about who would win the game, Ohio State or Michigan. Portnoy was probably feeling pretty good as the Wolverines had won The Game four years in a row, but this wasn't the same old Ohio State team Michigan was facing.

Meyer and Portnoy bet that whoever lost the game, that person had to pay the other $1000. Even Rob Gronkowski, who guest-starred on the show that day, made sure to say that it was a real bet and it had to be paid in full after the game. Ohio State ended up dominating the game 27-9, which means that Portnoy is on the hook for $1000.

On his weekly sports show, Urban revealed that he still has yet to see the money from Portnoy, which is it really a real shock.

"Portnoy still owes me a thousand bucks, I know that," Meyer said on his show.

At the end of the video, there is even a little message from Meyer that reads:

"Please pay your debts, Dave," and it was signed "respectfull Coach Meyer.

This is some awesome trolling by Meyer, as he certainly wants to see the money that was bet. Portnoy probably is still feeling the sting of that loss, even two weeks later, but who cares? A bet is a bet, and he needs to pay up and soon. Meyer won't wait forever, and if he is already putting Portnoy on blast, just wait to see what happens if he never gets paid.
