Over the last decade or so, no one has produced better receivers than the Ohio State football program. They have had five straight first-round wide receivers. Next year, it will be six once Jeremiah Smith declares. Simply put, no one does it better than the Buckeyes.

One of those first-round receivers was Marvin Harrison Jr. Harrison Jr. was taken with the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. He was one of the greatest receivers in Ohio State history, winning the Biletnikoff Award for best receiver in the country. Yet, he thinks his younger brother is better than him.

Marvin Harrison Jr. tells Ohio State fans what to look forward to with Jett Harrison

His younger brother, Jett, committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes earlier this summer. Harrison Jr. believes that his younger brother is better than him when he was at his age. He said so during a recent media session.

"I've always said before that Jett is more talented than I ever was at his age. I think what sets us apart is the mentality that we have. I just love the confidence that he has in himself. He thinks he can do anything in this world, and I love that about him. I try to do my part as the big brother to steer him down the right path."

If that ends up being true, then future opponents of the Buckeyes have a lot to game plan for. Harrison Jr. was an absolute monster while he was in Columbus. If Jett is even better, then the Buckeyes are going to be incredibly dangerous in the next couple of years.

There are rumors that Harrison could reclassify for next season. If he does, he would join Jamier Brown, another five-star receiver, on the roster. Even if he doesn't, he is still rated as one of the best players in the country in the 2028 class as a five-star recruit.

Ohio State is set at receiver for years to come

Ohio State feels great about the receiver room for the next few years. Even once Smith leaves after this year, they still have Chris Henry Jr. to take his mantle as the next great receiver. They also have Brown coming in next year, and potentially Harrison Jr. joining him.

Other than those future five-star receivers, the Buckeyes also still have some younger guys on the roster who can come back as primary pass-catchers next year. That includes Kyle Parker, who is a transfer from LSU. He should return next year, and he could be one of the primary weapons next year.

Even after this season, the Buckeyes are going to still have some of the best weapons in the country. Of course, that's not something that they are worried about now. Right now, they are the top-ranked team in the country. With that comes the expectation of a national title.

Those expectations are exactly why Jett Harrison is committed to playing in Columbus, just like his older brother did.
