The biggest honor a player at Ohio State can receive is getting a Buckeye Leaf sticker on their helmet. That sticker exemplifies exceptional play, consistency, big plays, and team achievements. Receiving stickers on a helmet is something every Ohio State player works so hard to do, so clearly it is one of the biggest honors they can receive.

Ohio State knows what Lee Corso means to college football, and when they sat down and thought about what to gift him for his final show on ESPN's College Gameday, there was only one thing to do. Before the first commercial break, head coach Ryan Day came to the desk and gifted the college football legend with an Ohio State helmet that said "Coach Corso" and a Buckeye Leaf sticker for every time he picked Ohio State with a headgear pick.

There were a lot of stickers on that helmet, the first one coming from 1996 when Corso made his first-ever headgear pick. Of course, Day gave Corso one last sticker to put on the helmet when he inevitably picked Brutus for his final headgear pick.

This is one of the highest honors that Ohio State could have given someone who has meant so much to college football over the years. Corso's retirement from College Gameday is truly the end of an era in this sport, as fans will miss his headgear picks, his witty banter with his deskmates, and his famous catchphrase, "Not so fast," when he disagrees with someone's pick.

Thank you, Coach Corso, for everything you have done for college football, and hopefully, the helmet from Ohio State will always remind you of your first love when it came to headgear picks, Brutus Buckeye. While others have tried to steal that love, Ohio State fans will always know he was your first love.
