The Ohio State football program is trying to make experiencing the team as good as possible for fans. They are trying to improve the fan experience as much as they can. A year after ending one of the most beloved traditions, athletic director Ross Bjork is trying to make amends.

Of course, there are still some things he's adding that fans don't love. That includes luxury seating at the South end of the stands, which forced the band to the North stands. Moving the band was a widely unpopular move, and fans were not pleased with it.

There is an upgrade that the Ohio State Buckeyes are making ahead of the 2026 season that fans will be happy with. On Thursday, it was announced that the Buckeyes are making some improvements to the stadium WiFi to further improve the experience fans have inside the stadium.

The Ohio State IT department made the announcement on social media, letting fans know that a new installation is underway.

For those who have ever attended a game, the WiFi does not work very well. It's tough to get a good enough signal to even check the scores of other games. Forget about sending text messages, either. Depending on your provider, it could be next to impossible to communicate with someone.

Stronger WiFi throughout the stadium should help out with that. Not only will it get easier to communicate with others, but it will be easier to post photos and videos from the game, as well. That will make fans more willing to go to the stadium for these games.

This is the least the university can do after raising ticket prices yet again. Bjork keeps jacking up ticket prices every year because he knows fans will pay those prices. It's also another reason why he is implementing luxury seating for the wealthiest fans who go to games.

Ohio State football fans will have a couple of premier games to watch at The Shoe

Luckily for fans of the Buckeyes, they will get a couple of high-level games to watch at home. They will get to watch both Oregon and TTUN come to Columbus. Those two home games will ease the pain of those ticket prices for fans. Adding better WiFi will improve their experience at those games, as well.

The first time that fans will get to experience the new update is in the season opener against Ball State. The Cardinals are massive underdogs, so fans will likely be scrolling on their phones when the second half rolls around. The new Wifi will certainly make things easier for them in that regard.

Ohio State will continue making updates to Ohio Stadium for the next few years. They still have to upgrade the scoreboards on both ends of the stadium. Both the big scoreboard in the South end and the smaller one in the North end will have some huge upgrades in the next few years.
