The Ohio State football program is the undisputed number one team in the country. After Miami lost at home to Louisville on Friday night, there should be no doubt on who the top-ranked team should be. The Buckeyes are undefeated and haven't really come close to losing a game yet.

They will try to extend that winning streak in Madison. This might be one of the final games that Luke Fickell coaches for the Badgers after another rough season. They are coming off a 37-0 loss to the Hawkeyes, and they will be starting Hunter Simmons in this one.

Simmons started the season as the third-string quarterback, so having him as the starter might not bode well. Billy Edwards continues to be out with an injury. The Ohio State Buckeyes are licking their chops, and this game could get out of hand pretty quickly.

Final odds and predictions for the Ohio State football team vs Wisconsin

According to DraftKings, the Buckeyes are 25.5-point favorites. That line seems a little low for how well Ohio State has been playing. Perhaps the windy weather is one of the reasons why the line isn't higher, but Bo Jackson has started to run the ball better in recent weeks.

Prediction: Ohio State 38 Wisconsin 3

The Badgers have no semblance of an offense. The Buckeyes have the best defense in the country. That's not a good combination for Wisconsin when it comes to scoring points and winning the game. It wouldn't be surprising if Ohio State ended up pitching its second shutout of the season.

Speaking of Jackson, he should have 100+ yards rushing in this one. In fact, Ohio State should have over 200 yards rushing as a team in this game as they deal with the wind. Julian Sayin will still throw it well, but they might not need him to throw it often. The Buckeyes will be leading this entire game.

There are two things that Buckeye fans will want to see from them in this game: better red zone offense and a solid running game. This is the perfect time to get both of those goals accomplished because they won't have to worry about losing this game.

Ohio State should be able to be in cruise control mode until it takes on TTUN at the end of the season. Any stumble before then would be a truly shocking event.
