Ohio State football vs. Penn State weather forecast
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team has a massive top-five matchup this weekend against Penn State. The Buckeyes are in desperate need of a win. After how poorly they played against Nebraska, the fanbase is afraid that this great team that was assembled might fizzle out.
Penn State doesn't come into this game exactly playing their best football, either. They struggled with Wisconsin for a while until pulling away in the fourth quarter. The Buckeyes have a lot that they need to fix if they want to win this game and stay alive for a Big Ten Championship.
The last thing they need is to play in some bad weather right now. With how poorly the offensive line has played since the injury to Josh Simmons, bad weather would neuter this offense right now. So what does the weather look like for this huge matchup?
Ohio State football vs. Penn State weather forecast
According to the Weather Channel, there shouldn't be any issues with the weather. It will be about 48 degrees when the game kicks off at noon. It will be partly cloudy with only 7 mph worth of wind during the game. When the game ends, it will be about 55 degrees.
The weather should be great once again. That means neither team has any excuses for the offense not to run smoothly except for the opposing defense. There won't be any issues with the ball being wet or it being too windy to throw or kick the ball, which is a good thing.
We'll see what the Buckeyes have in store for Penn State this weekend. There's no question that they are the more talented team, but they may have too many injuries in key spots to win this game on the road. This game will define the rest of Ryan Day's Ohio State football career.
