Ohio State football vs. Oregon weather forecast
By Ryan Stano
The Ohio State football team is taking on Oregon in what is the premier matchup of the weekend in college football. It's #2 vs. #3 in Eugene this weekend. It will be a tough task for the Buckeyes to win this game. Flying across the country to take on such a talented team is not ideal.
Looking at what both teams like to do, bad weather would hurt them. Both the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Ducks like to open up the playbook on offense and score quickly. We've seen multiple explosive scores this season from the Buckeyes in both the running game and the passing game.
So far this season, Ohio State has gotten very lucky with the weather. They've only had a little bit of mist once this season, and that was against Michigan State. Every other week has had picture-perfect conditions. Will that continue this week against their toughest opponent?
Ohio State football vs. Oregon weather forecast
This will be another great day for football. According to the Weather Channel, it's going to be 74 degrees and sunny at kickoff for this game. Remember, it's a 7:30 pm ET kickoff. That means it's still 4:30 pm PT, meaning it will be the hottest part of the day when the game starts.
When the game is over, the temperature will drop to about 62 degrees. There is no precipitation in the forecast at all. The wind won't play a factor in this game, either. It will only blow 1-4 mph. Neither team can use the weather as an excuse for not executing their gameplan.
The Buckeyes are ready for this challenge. If they win this game, there's a great chance that they will be the new number-one team in the country in the polls. They also would also become the clear favorites to win the Big Ten.
