The Ohio State football team is taking on their toughest opponent of the year on Saturday night. After tearing through the first five games of their schedule, they have to travel across the country and take on Oregon. The Ducks are the best team that they have played so far this year.

Not only are they the best team that they've played so far, but this might also be the toughest game that they have all year. Iowa was a cakewalk. The Ducks will be looking to gain chunks of yards on offense and keep Ohio State's offense off the field.

So what can the Buckeyes expect from their opponent? They can expect a lot of firepower. This is by far the best offense that Ohio State has faced in this young year. After scoring just 24 points in their first game of the year, the Ducks have scored at least 30 points in every game since.

The Ohio State football team can expect solid offense from Oregon

Tez Johnson is one of the best receivers in the country. He already has 43 catches. The next closest amount for an Oregon receiver is 19. They want to get the ball to him as much as possible. It's critical for the Ohio State secondary to take him away as much as possible.

Even with as much talent as they have on offense, Oregon doesn't have a top-25 offense in terms of yardage. The Buckeyes have the best defense in the country. They should be able to slow the Ducks down even if they can't completely stop them.

While the Ohio State Buckeyes are on offense, Will Howard is going to finally have to get involved in the running game. This is probably the game where Chip Kelly empties the playbook and starts getting even more creative with the run game. Howard is going to be in some read-option plays.

This might be the first game that is actually competitive in the fourth quarter for the Ohio State football team. The Buckeyes haven't had a competitive game in the second half yet this season. I think Buckeye fans should buckle up for this one.
