The Ohio State football program has changed how it approaches offensive line recruiting under Tyler Bowen. Bowen has decided that in order to add depth to the offensive line, he needs to offer more scholarships to prospects than Justin Frye did when he was in charge.

Bowen has offered a few dozen offensive linemen scholarships since taking over the job and already has three commitments for the 2026 recruiting class. They are still trying to add a couple of really good offensive linemen to this class, as well. There's one five-star recruit visiting this weekend that they'd love to get.

Another offensive lineman has narrowed down his final schools list to five. The Ohio State Buckeyes appear on that list. Chancellor Campbell, a three-star offensive lineman from St. Petersburg, Florida, has included the Buckeyes on his final list of schools.

Campbell might be just a three-star recruit, but he is massive. He stands at 6'8 and 295 pounds. He needs to put on a bit of weight to help with that frame, but that height gives serious Dawand Jones vibes. Jones ended up being pretty darn good for the Buckeyes.

Other than Ohio State, Campbell is deciding between Colorado, Florida, Penn State, and Georgia. He will visit Columbus on June 13th, so Ohio State gets the second-to-last visit for him. His final visit will be Penn State on June 20th.

His size is part of the reason why so many programs are hoping to land him. He's very raw, which is why he's only a three-star recruit. But all of these programs think that they can develop his skills and turn him into a really good tackle.

It depends on how the Buckeyes do this weekend on the recruiting front whether or not they'll have a spot for Campbell. He isn't the highest on their priority list, but he will shoot up the list if Ohio State can't land some of the offensive linemen they have visiting in the next couple of weeks.
