The Ohio State football team is still basking in the glory of winning a national championship. That's the ultimate goal when any season starts. They have been able to enjoy that for about a week and a half now. For the coaches, they have already started work for 2025.
Part of that work in 2025 will have to deal with recruiting the 2026 class. The Buckeyes already have a few recruits committed for that class, but they are projected to land a lot more after some recent predictions. They could be adding six more recruits soon.
The Ohio State football team is predicted to land six big-time recruits
One of the recruits predicted to choose the Buckeyes is offensive lineman Max Riley. Riley is a four-star offensive lineman from Avon Lake, Ohio. He is predicted to choose Ohio State, which would be a nice get. Ohio State needs more offensive linemen, especially good ones from Ohio.
Adam Guthrie is another offensive lineman who is predicted to choose the Ohio State Buckeyes. He's a four-star recruit from Washington Court House, Ohio. If Justin Frye can land both of those recruits, that would be a nice start on the offensive line class for 2026.
Of course, there is still one more offensive lineman who is predicted to head to Columbus. That is Sam Greer. Greer is another four-star offensive lineman from the state of Ohio, as he's from Akron. This would be the best recruiting inside the state of Ohio for Frye if he's able to land all of those guys.
Another recruit predicted to choose the Buckeyes is Cincere Johnson. Johnson is a four-star recruit from Cleveland, Ohio. He's not the only linebacker, either. Storm Miller is also projected to pick Ohio State. Miller is a four-star recruit from Strongsville, Ohio.
Finally, the last recruit who is projected to pick the Buckeyes right now is Duece Geralds. Geralds is the only recruit who isn't from the state of Ohio to pick up this prediction. He is a four-star defensive lineman from Suwanee, Georgia.
If Ohio State is actually able to land all of these recruits, that would be a heck of a way to start the recruiting cycle early in 2025.
