The Ohio State football program is ready to turn up the recruiting efforts. After landing just one commitment during the Spring Game, the Buckeyes are hoping to add more in the next few weeks. With Spring ball done, camp season is the next thing on the calendar.

Camp season also brings recruits in to help get noticed. That's a good time for the Ohio State Buckeyes to get some recruits on campus, especially in July. That's when they host a yearly recruiting camp, which helps them get some commitments almost every year.

There are a couple of recruits who are about to make a decision about their collegiate decisions. Ohio State is one of the final schools for both recruits. Ryan Day and his staff will know very soon about two four-star recruits whom they have been after for a long period of time.

The Ohio State football team could add two top-end recruits soon

Four-star safety Zayden Gamble is the top safety recruit in the state of Florida. He is a high four-star recruit who will be announcing his commitment on Saturday. Other than Ohio State, Gamble is also considering Notre Dame, Miami, and Florida. Ohio State has a pipeline coming out of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, so hopefully that helps.

Another top-end recruit is going to be on campus for an official visit later this summer. AJ Randle, a four-star linebacker recruit, will be in Columbus on June 12-14. It is one of five official visits that he has scheduled. Ohio State is the second-to-last official visit that he has.

Ohio State is going to find out whether or not they land a stellar recruit, or if they end up losing out on him. It would be nice if the Buckeyes could add some commitments. Things are moving a little slower than they normally do on that front, but fans shouldn't be worried yet.
