The Ohio State football program continues to try to beef up the offensive line with its recruiting. They had a massive recruiting weekend, and that resulted in them being projected to land one offensive lineman they have been pursuing. Most Buckeye fans wanted to know about one particular recruit.

That recruit is five-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo. Ojo is rated as the second-best offensive lineman in the 2026 recruiting class. He visited the Ohio State Buckeyes this weekend and seemed to love what he saw, which is great news for the Buckeyes and their 2026 recruiting class.

Right now, the Buckeyes have the third-best recruiting class in the country. They still only have 13 commitments in the class, but they are working on adding more. Based on what Ojo said following his visit, they have to feel good about where they stand.

Following the visit, Ojo had some praise for the Buckeyes. This isn't the first time he's been on campus, but he was still impressed with what they showed him this time. He said that he had a great visit, and he loves what Ryan Day and the program would do with him if he committed.

Right now, it seems that the main competition for Ojo is Texas. The Longhorns are his home-state school, so it's going to be hard for the Buckeyes to pry him out of that state. Ohio State also doesn't have a recent track record of landing these massive recruits on the offensive line.

Tyler Bowen is trying to change that and get big-time offensive linemen to come back to Ohio State. Winning the national championship should help Bowen in his effort to get some of these five-star offensive linemen into Columbus.

Ohio State is hoping to land Ojo, but he has multiple other visits coming up. He is still visiting Michigan, Texas, and Oklahoma. Texas is the best competition for the Ohio State football program, so they have to hope that the impression of this visit holds up through the other visits.
