The Ohio State football team is hoping to load up on a historic recruiting class for 2026. Right now, they have the third-best recruiting class in the country. This weekend is a huge weekend for them when it comes to recruiting, as they have several five and four-star recruits on campus.

While this weekend is important, they are still scheduling visits with some other fantastic recruits. They are trying to land as many top recruits as possible, which is always the goal. It doesn't matter what position they play. They aren't being picky with this class.

One four-star recruit that the Buckeyes would love to get is cornerback Justice Fitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick is from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is listed as the third-best cornerback recruit in the country. He has given a final list of schools, and he will be visiting Ohio State last of all of them.

The Ohio State football team will get a final recruiting visit from a key cornerback recruit

Fitzpatrick stands at 6'1 and 185 pounds, so he has good size at the cornerback position. He has already visited Ohio State once, visiting unofficially in March. Other than the Ohio State Buckeyes, he has Florida, Miami, Texas, and Georgia. All of the big schools want him.

The good news for the Buckeyes is that they get the final visit with him. He will visit Ohio State on June 20th. Before that, he will visit Georgia, Miami, Florida, and then Texas in that order. With the Buckeyes having the last visit, that gives them a shot to land him.

Ohio State still has just 13 commitments for the 2026 class. That will likely start to change after this weekend. Having too many good cornerbacks is not an issue that the Buckeyes subscribe to. They want to have as many talented players as they can.
