The Ohio State football team came into the game against Purdue expecting to beat them down. Coming off a win against a top-five team, the Buckeyes wanted to show that they could be a dominant team against a bad team as well. Purdue is one of the worst teams in the country.

That's exactly what they did. They took down the Boilermakers 45-0 in a game that wasn't close at any point. The best part about this game is that the Buckeyes didn't even play their best game. They looked like they were sleepwalking through a lot of this game early on.

Will Howard was efficient in this game, going 21/26 for 260 yards and three touchdowns. He did have a couple of egregious underthrows, but it didn't matter. He also ran a touchdown in. Howard was good enough to get a blowout win, which is what the Ohio State Buckeyes will be looking for next week too.

The Buckeyes showed that they can still beat bad teams even when they are coming off an emotional victory. The defense even scored a touchdown in this game. Jack Sawyer returned a fumble for a touchdown after J.T. Tuimoloau forced it. Ohio State also blocked a punt in this game.

It seems that the defense has fixed the issues that they had against Oregon. After that terrible performance, the defense was pretty much rebuilt. It seems that unit is ready to show that they are as good as everyone said they were before the season.

Ohio State will travel to Wrigley Field next week to take on a bad Northwestern team. That's another game they should win without too many problems. It's the final two weeks of the year that will determine how their season goes.
