The Ohio State football team has been in the middle of the bye week trying to correct errors from last Saturday. Losing to Oregon was not what they had in mind when they made the trip to Eugene. What made it worse is how they lost the game because it was just by one.

There were some highly-ranked recruits at that game on Saturday. The Buckeyes were hoping to make a big impression on some of those recruits. One recruit whom the Buckeyes have had locked in for a while has been a big topic of discussion lately because of fears of him flipping.

That recruit is five-star cornerback Na'eem Offord. There have been fears of him flipping for quite some time. For a while, it looked like he was going to flip to Auburn despite numerous messages of him reaffirming his status to the Ohio State Buckeyes. He just sent the Bucks another encouraging message.

Ohio State football recruit reaffirms his commitment to the Buckeyes

Offord took to social media to make sure that everyone knew that he is still locked into the Ohio State football program.

It's a short and sweet message, but it's effective. He's sent plenty of these over the past four or five months. People think he's going to flip because he keeps taking official visits. If you're an elite recruit, why would you not take all of the official visits your afforded?

If you do that, you can rack up some free gear, travel to some cool campuses, and see good college football games for free. It's a no-brainer. His loyalty hasn't wavered from the Buckeyes. He is locked in and ready to keep the Buckeyes' tradition of having great corners alive.

It's good to see that the loss to Oregon didn't affect Offord's commitment. I'm not sure what all other recruits think about that loss, but Offord continues to be a Buckeye.
