The Ohio State football program has started Fall camp as they march towards defending their national championship. Jeremiah Smith looks to be a big part of their team after finishing last season as the best player in college football as just a freshman.

Smith has only gotten bigger, faster, and stronger since the end of last year. He has shown that he is perhaps the best receiver prospect that the Buckeyes have ever had. He does things that other receivers around the nation simply can't do.

During practice on Saturday, the Ohio State Buckeyes sent out a clip on social media that shows just how good Smith is. Smith made one of the best catches that anyone has ever seen, catching the ball with one hand while falling back with a defender draped all over him.

Take a look at the catch below.

Catches like this are why Smith is considered not just the best receiver in college football, but the best player period. There's simply no defending him. He can make incredible plays like this, even when the defense does everything right when it comes to covering him.

Smith is also incredibly dangerous with the ball in his hands, as Oregon found out last season during the Rose Bowl. He took a short pass for a touchdown during the Buckeyes' first drive of the game. The scary thing for other programs is that he still has two more years of college football to play before he can head to the NFL.

Ohio State continues to bring guys like Smith in almost every recruiting class at this point. He's a man amongst boys, and with Julian Sayin likely going to be the quarterback throwing to him, the two former five-star recruits should have a massive season in 2025.

The Buckeyes are looking to become the first program since Georgia to win back-to-back titles. Smith is solely focused on that goal alone as he prepares to be the best kind of player that he can be for the team to achieve that goal.
