The Ohio State football team got a big win on Saturday night over the Ohio Bobcats, winning the game 37-9. It was a good win as they head into their first bye week of the year. NFL Buckeyes had some good performances while gathering wins, as well.

Before we get to those, a couple of former Ohio State Buckeyes scored their first touchdowns, one in a loss and one in a win, both of them tight ends. Jeremy Ruckert caught the first touchdown of his four-year career with the Jets in a loss to the Bills, while Luke Farrell caught his first TD pass in his five-year career for the 49ers in a win over the Saints.

Ohio State football players have another big week of winning in the NFL

Jaxon Smith-Njigba had another big game against the Steelers this week. He had eight catches for 103 yards and looked like the best offensive player on the field. Joey Bosa had a nice game with his new team, recording his first sack for the Bills in a game against the Jets.

Zach Harrison had his best game as a pro on Sunday night football against the Minnesota Vikings, recording 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble. He's trying to reach his full potential as an NFL player, something he didn't quite reach while with the Buckeyes.

While all of these players had winning NFL Sundays, there were a couple of players who lost, but it wasn't without them having a solid performance. Quinshon Judkins was one of those guys, making his NFL debut after some offseason fireworks. He had 11 carries for 60 yards in a loss against the Ravens.

J.K. Dobbins has used his chance with the Broncos as an opportunity to show that he's still a very good running back when he's healthy. He had 14 carries for 76 yards and a touchdown to go along with a nine-yard catch in a last-second loss to the Colts. Dobbins' teammate Jonathon Cooper had four tackles and a tackle for loss in that game, as well.

Josh Simmons perhaps had the single-best play in a losing effort for the Chiefs, stopping the Eagles from having a pick-six with some incredible speed.

These Buckeyes continue to make impactful plays at the next level. There is a crop of Buckeyes who can't wait to make those same plays next season when they enter the draft.
