Ohio State Buckeyes guard Luke Montgomery clowned on TTUN for their various scandals throughout the years, not naming anybody but almost assuredly talking about fired Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore and disgraced analyst/mole Connor Stalions.

Moore recently settled a court case on issues relating to an inappropriate relationship with a staffer. His firing came abruptly at the end of the 2025 College Football season. Stalions has been heavily penalized by the NCAA for recruiting infractions stemming from his sign-stealing from opponents during TTUN's 2023/2024 title run.

Montgomery revealed on Tuesday during spring practice that he's thankful that he didn't end up embroiled in any of these scandals in Ann Arbor and instead committed to the Ohio State University in 2022 before enrolling in 2023.

“Thank goodness I didn’t go there -- just with what’s going on in the past few years,” Montgomery said. “I think they did a great job recruiting me. I wish all of them the best, everyone on that staff and stuff like that. I hope some of them find the Lord and can come back and be with the people they love and stuff like that.”

Montgomery stressed how important it was to win another iteration of "The Game" this coming November at the "Shoe" before moving on to the NFL or wherever his career leads him after his Buckeyes tenure.

“Being an Ohio kid and being here now and understanding what the rivalry really means and stuff like that, going into my third year and losing two times, I really wanted those gold pants,” he said. “Now we got these ones, but I’ve got one more year left.”

Luke Montgomery is a Buckeye for life

Montgomery has embraced everything about suiting up for the Scarlet and Gray in Columbus, Ohio. When he had the chance to declare for the NFL this past January, Montgomery chose one last ride with the Buckeyes, saying, "Love this place and the people..." paired with a hype video to the tune of "Shook Ones, Pt. II" by Mobb Deep.

As part of four returning starters along the offensive line, Montgomery is expected to help the run game thrive under new smash-mouthed offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. It might be a match made in heaven.

Just like he and the Ohio State University across the board otherwise.
