The Ohio State football team is preparing for the National Championship Game. They will take on Notre Dame for all of the marbles on Monday evening. All of their energy is focused on beating the Fighting Irish and finishing off the season as national champions.

While the Buckeyes prepare for this game, the last thing they need is any distractions. One player had been a distraction for the team for a while, and that is reserve defensive lineman Caden Davis. Davis is most known for his social media posts, particularly on Tik Tok.

Davis is a sophomore who has never recorded a tackle in his collegiate career. He hasn't been traveling with the team for a while now, despite a misleading post that had people thinking he was with the team for the Cotton Bowl this year. He's now officially been dismissed from the team.

Former Ohio State football player Caden Davis gets dismissed from the team

Just a few days before the big game, Davis has officially been dismissed from the team. While no official reason was given, he hasn't had the best online presence. Let's just say there are some rumors of him being a part of the darker side of the internet.

If you are unaware of the rumors I am referring to, just search his name on X or any social media app. You will find what I am talking about. There are certain things I wish I could share about the situation, but I can't do that. All I can say is that Davis is no longer with the Buckeyes.

Davis was just a walk-on and was a non-factor for this team. Having him leave the program won't have any bearing on how things go on Monday. This is just one less distraction that the team has to deal with moving forward.
