This Fall, it looks like the TV viewing experience for Ohio State football fans is going to get much worse.

Ohio State football fans have gotten used to their team playing a ton of games at noon in the Fall. Most of their games have been the Big Noon slot, which means fans of the Buckeyes have been watching Urban Meyer, Brady Quinn, Matt Leinart, and the rest of the crew for a while.

Most fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes prefer watching Big Noon Kickoff to College GameDay now that the SEC has completely overtaken that network, and it is now perceived as biased by many fans. Unfortunately, the Big Noon Show is about to be a lot more intolerable to watch if one certain deal happens.

According to a report from Front Office Sports, Fox is very close to signing a deal with Dave Portnoy for him to appear on Big Noon Kickoff. He is one of the most insufferable and obnoxious fans of TTUN that there is in the country.

Ohio State football fans might not have a pregame show to watch this Fall

If the options are between GameDay and Big Nook with Portnoy on the broadcast, they might not have a good option. There's a chance that a lot of Ohio State football fans just wait until the game actually kicks off to turn it on if the Buckeyes are playing at noon.

In Week 1, fans will certainly be watching GameDay because it will be Lee Corso's final show, and it will be at the Shoe for the epic showdown against Texas. After that, ther jury is out on what fans decide to do. It may just be a week-to-week decision for them

Portnoy won't just annoy Ohio State fans, but he'll annoy a lot of neutral college football fans out there. It's just a bad idea to bring him on board, especially when the current show has such a good group of analysts on it.
