Over the last decade, Ohio Stadium has gone through several renovations. Ohio State football fans haven't been thrilled with all of them. Some of them have been good, such as stadium WiFi, upgraded concessions, and adding more portable restrooms.

Others have not been received as favorably, such as reducing capacity, luxury seating in the South stands, and an increase in ticket prices. The in-person experience has changed so much that some fans of the Buckeyes have stopped going to games. That has caused some alarm with Ohio State.

With that being the case, the Ohio State Buckeyes have decided to give the fans some say in what the future of the Horseshoe will look like. If you want the university to hear your concerns, a recent report proves that you will be given that chance.

Ohio State football team gives fans a say in Ohio Stadium renovations

According to Joey Kaufman of the Columbus Dispatch, the university will give fans a survey about future renovations to the stadium. The biggest piece that the university is exploring is adding more luxury seating. In Kaufman's article, the university claims that they have much less luxury seating than other top programs.

It seems that wealthy donors want to have a larger conversation about possibly adding more luxury seating. That could squeeze out more seating for normal Ohio State football fans, but no decisions have been made. That's what the survey is for, so fans will get to have their voices heard.

The Buckeyes will finish up the renovations in the South endzone at the end of this football season. They will also start renovations on both scoreboards within the next couple of seasons, as well. A lot of money is being poured into the stadium to improve the fan experience.

Whether or not they are spending money on the right things remains to be seen. If you want the Buckeyes to either keep the seating the same or increase capacity, you will get a chance to have your voice heard. Season ticket holders will be getting the survey as early as next week.

If these renovations help the Buckeyes win more games and help them win titles, that's great. That's what the ultimate goal of all of this is. Ryan Day and the team just want to have as many fans in the Shoe screaming their heads off as possible, especially when they are on defense.
