Are we inching closer to finding out where 5-star EDGE prospect Carter Meadows will be playing his college ball? It's been a long process for the youngster, with the Ohio State football team being in on him for a little while. Now, a final four has been set.
In some good news for the Buckeyes and head man Ryan Day, Ohio State has made the cut. However, the Buckeyes are joined on Meadows' list of finalists by Penn State, Michigan and South Carolina. Will Meadows be Big Ten-bound, or will South Carolina end up getting the commitment of the Washington D.C. product?

5-star EDGE Carter Meadows has Ohio State football among his finalists
The Buckeyes entered the race a bit late here, putting an offer on the table for him on March 2. Despite that, Day and the Ohio State coaches have clearly done more than enough to turn his head and have him think about potentially making the move to Columbus in 2026.
Thus far, Michigan has emerged as a bit of a favorite here, with him scheduled to take an official visit to Ann Arbor on June 20. That's not the only OV coming for him, however, as he's now expected to take officials to each one of his top schools.
Meadows has picked up almost 30 offers this season. He's widely considered one of the top EDGE prospects in the country and for good reason. He's got a fantastic frame and he's only going to get bigger and stronger once he gets to the college level.
From our chair, it looks like the Buckeyes have a bit of catching up to do, but making the final four shouldn't be overlooked. The next step for Day and Co. will be to try and get him on campus for a visit as soon as possible. Landing him over Penn State and Michigan sure would be a nice offseason win for the program.
