It's already been a fantastic weekend for Ohio State football and Ryan Day. Matter of fact, it's been a pretty great week, as in addition to the victory over Purdue, Day and Co. have also added two new commits for the 2026 class. Is a third on the way come Sunday?

That's what plenty of people are hoping for, as 4-star defensive lineman Emanuel Ruffin revealed that he's going to be announcing his college decision on Sunday afternoon. Ruffin, a 6-4, 295-pounder is going to be deciding between the Buckeyes and Missouri. So, will the Alabama product be playing his college ball in the Big Ten or SEC?

Earlier this month, Ruffin backed off his pledge to Deion Sanders and Colorado. He originally committed to Colorado in September, but he has decided that his future won't be in Boulder. Instead, could it be in Columbus?
This is what plenty of Ohio State fans are hoping for, as Ruffin would no question be a big-time get. Throughout his recruitment, the elite DL target has picked up a total of 31 offers. Per his 247Sports page, Ruffin took official visits to Missouri, Colorado, Alabama, LSU and Ohio State.
Ohio State assistant Larry Johnson has been in consistent communication with Ruffin, making an impact on his recruitment. Will it be enough to get the nation's No. 19 DL to commit to the Buckeyes? We'll find out soon enough, but the Buckeyes are clearly in a great spot here.
On Saturday, the Buckeyes took down Purdue, doing so in dominant fashion. Earlier in the week, 4-star cornerback Jay Timmons flipped from Florida State to Ohio State, while OSU legacy Mason Wilhelm backed off his UNC pledge and committed to the Buckeyes.
Now, all eyes are going to be on Ruffin to see if he'll become the latest playmaker to decide he wants to play for the reigning national champs. From our chair, it's an easy decision for Ruffin, but we won't know for sure what he plans to do until Sunday. Stay tuned, as a major call is on the way from him.
