Most of the Ohio State football team's 2025 recruiting class has signed with the team. With that, we do a film breakdown, starting with the offense.

Tavien St. Clair: Quarterback, five-star

Tavien St. Clair continues the trend of getting top quarterback prospects at Ohio State. St. Clair is a legit quarterback prospect who can make all the throws. He is great in size and moves well in and around the pocket. His footwork and mechanics are excellent. St. Clair has a chance to eventually start for the Buckeyes at quarterback, and he could be a special player. He has all the tools to develop and be a top-flight quarterback.

Carter Lowe: Offensive Lineman, four-star

Justin Frye has struggled with recruiting and developing quality offensive linemen, but Carter Lowe has a chance to change the narrative. Lowe has great size for the position standing 6'5. He is a good athlete that moves well. Looking at his film he moves his feet well and does a good job of passing protection. He needs to gain strength, so the weight room will be huge for him to develop. Lowe should have a chance to start down the road as an offensive guard or as an offensive tackle.

Quincy Porter: Wide Receiver, four-star

Brian Hartline continues to load up on wide receivers every year for the Buckeyes. Quincy Porter is another talented wide receiver for Ohio State. Looking at Porter's film, the biggest thing that stands out is his size. The guy is 6'3 and has a huge frame.

He is a good athlete that does a nice job of making defenders miss in space. I also think his route running is impressive. Porter probably won't make an impact early because of how talented the wide receivers are at Ohio State, but he could eventually have a chance to start.

Bo Jackson: Running Back, four-star

Bo Jackson has some of the best film you see from a running back. The kid can score anytime he touches the ball, he is that electric. He has great body control and does a good job of making players miss in space. He also shows a good ability to run through contact. Ohio State needed to get multiple running backs in this class and Jackson is one of three in the class.

Anthony Rogers: Running Back, four-star

Anthony Rogers is a late addition to the recruiting class as he committed on signing day to Ohio State. He has a great all-around understanding of the game. His high school team moved him all over the field and he played wide receiver as well as running back. He is a fast, twitchy type of athlete who could make an impact in his career at Ohio State. I also loved his patience as a runner. He never gets ahead of himself, and he always seems to hit the hole at the right moment. Rogers has a chance to be a good player at Ohio State.

Nate Roberts: Tight End, four-star

Nate Roberts is a good athlete who plays as a tight end. I can see him developing into a Jeremy Ruckert type of tight end who is better used as a pass catcher compared to a run blocker. He has excellent athleticism and moves well. He shows a good ability to catch the ball well in traffic. Roberts has a chance to be a good player for Ohio State down the road.

De'zie Jones: Wide Receiver, four-star

De'zie Jones is another dynamic wide receiver from Brian Hartline and Ohio State. He projects as a slot wide receiver who shows a good burst and the ability to get in and out of his breaks. He is a dynamic athlete who can score anytime he touches the ball. It will take Jones a few years, but he should have a good chance at eventually getting on the field.

Phillip Bell: Wide Receiver, four-star

Phillip Bell is the third receiver in this class, but he is equally as talented as a wide receiver. Bell has great size standing, 6'2. He is outstanding on 50/50 balls thrown in his direction. Bell is in a similar situation to the other wide receivers in this class, and he will have to sit and wait his time behind a talented group of receivers.

Bodpegn Miller: Wide Receiver, four-star

Bodpegn Miller is the fourth wide receiver in this class and the rare wide receiver from Ohio for the Buckeyes. He played as a quarterback in High School, so he is raw compared to the other three receivers in the class. He is a dynamic athlete, though, so sitting and learning from wide receivers coach Brian Hartline will help him develop and then possibly get to play down the road.

Isaiah West: Running Back, three-star

Isaiah West is the third member of the running back room for new running backs coach Carlos Locklyn. He should not be considered a less talented running back as compared to the other three running backs. West has a great feel for the game and understands how to hit the hole and make defenders miss in space. West should have a good chance to eventually play for Ohio State.

Brody Lennon: Tight End, three-star

Brody Lennon is a good athlete who has to develop as a complete tight end in college. Lennon shows some intriguing skills as a pass catcher. He does a good job of catching the ball in space and making defenders miss. His developmental timeline might be a few years, but Ohio State could have found a diamond in the rough in Lennon.

Jake Cook: Interior Offensive Lineman, three-star

Jake Cook is another developmental guy for Ohio State. He played offensive tackle in high school but projects as an interior offensive lineman at the next level. Cook plays with good leverage and shows solid strength. Looking at his film he has good technique and does a nice job firing off the ball to block defensive tackles. If he can develop he could be on the field in a few years.

Jayvon McFadden: Offensive Lineman, three-star

Jayvon McFadden is another offensive lineman who is considered a developmental prospect, but I think he could have a higher ceiling than Jalen Cook. McFadden has all the tools to be a good interior offensive lineman. He shows good strength and does an excellent job of double-team blocking and getting to the next level. McFadden is a good prospect who could get on the field in a few years.

manual

All in all, it's a fairly solid offensive class for the Buckeyes.
